I Watched The Whole Damn Thing. And I Just Gotta Say,
Edited on Sat May-31-08 06:56 PM by Solomon
That was quite tasty. They did a good job, and I was kind of proud of them, which we don't get to feel too much anymore as democrats.

It was orderly and well done. I feel like we're turning a corner.

1. What show were you watching?
The 2004 convention?

2. Agreed. Not the best way to spend a Spring Saturday, but I feel refreshed.

3. I thought they did a good job too.
They deserved the standing O, no doubt. In fact, I stood and and cheered myself.

4. At the end of the day, my vote will be worth something.
So for all my previous frustration and anger, I can still say they did the right thing.

Today, I am proud to be a Floridian.

Today, I am proud to be a Democrat.

5. I am proud of my party for
solving a thorny issue in the OPEN for all to see with as much decorum as possible given the antics of Ickes and planted Hillbots.

7. An important thing about it is the image it created of what a
democratically controlled congress and administration would look like.

I thought it was a great start.

8. Yep, certain members of the R&B (including both Obama and Clinton supporters)
made me extremely proud. They deserve a drink after that (I wouldn't have one of those oranges though...) I would have broken down in the face of the hecklers. Other members made me not so proud to be a Democrat, but all in all, I was proud.

9. They did a GREAT job
In very difficult and heated circumstances. And for the most part, they projected party unity in the votes.

12. It was a breath of fresh air because we are not used to
transperency.

Also consider that they got a lot of business done in a relatively quick time.

It's almost too much to ask for.
