I've not been able to watch the news and I've got company coming for dinner in an hour and I have to go to the store and get food!

There, I have a great excuse for not knowing.

Just a quick summary.

You can be my best friend for life.

1. Compromise seating both delegations
MI: Clinton 69 Obama 59. Each delegate gets 1/2 vote. Clinton +5.
FLA: Clinton 105 Obama 67. Each delegate gets 1/2 vote. Clinton +19.

2. Harold Ickes campaigned for McCain
( ok, I didn't need to add that, but I couldn't resist. Shame on me).

3. Well...
After several hours of discussion they finally decided that FL would have all its delegates seated at the convention and that all delagates pledged and supers would get a 1/2 vote.
For MI, same deal with the pledged delegate split at 69 Clinton/59 Obama
With this senario it will take 2117 delegates to win the nomination and Obama now needs 64 more delegates to win. Clinton still needs more than 200.

4. Wexler (Obama speaker) was one of the Big Highlights too

sounded very passionate and almost emotionally pissed that Obama was being scapegoated for this mess that had nothing to do with him

5. Thanks for asking!
I was also wondering, since I've been busy all day...

I nearly started my own thread to ask, but then I saw yours!

I'm glad it's finally been decided.
