If there is not a "presumptive nominee", I will probably have to give up DU altogether.

I cannot bear to watch the Party destroy the best hope we have had since my childhood (60s)
It just makes me angry, but I have to quickly switch to sadness and cynicism.
Build a Wall. Maybe "politics" has a bad rep and is HARD & DIRTY. But this is my country.
Our children are being killed and maimed nonstop.
Mental health issues and physical disabilities are raising exponentially, when we don't even have the resources to take care of the frail we already have among us!!

What? Is our collective Death Wish so POWERFUL that we cannot choose to step back from the edge?

Really. Stop the madness or I'm getting off.

1. The cure for what ails you is to work for the candidate...
DU is pretty much irrelevant in the real world.

7. Good idea. I will.
I'll make phone calls for Obama and probably the DCCC. I think it will be the first time I ever worked for one particular candidate. Obama has long coattails, so we can really clean up.

The problem is, this year more than any other, the blogosphere does seem to be having an impact on the MSM.

10. Oh good - we need you!!!
Don't worry ~ once you get involved, you'll see that this stuff really doesn't matter much. Most Americans don't follow the race closely, so what happens on the ground makes a big difference. Try to get hooked up at a field office so you get to work with lots of other volunteers ~ it's great fun to be at the energetic center of things and meet such dedicated and awesome people!

You're so right about the coattails ~ I was at a party last night for my Congressman, who is being challenged this year. Obama will really help!

2. Have faith. The Admin's are a little pig-headed, but fairly smart.
I've been arguing with David since WI. Let's see what the next week brings.

3. Hoped for a settle long before now
and so many times. I'm just saying, I cannot listen to this bile for two more months. Who can?
What must the heart of a woman who would spend the DAMN summer stirring shit for the entire world feel like? I don't want to know.

4. I agree with you. I still don't think she'll do it.
She'll take it to the edge, and no more. It's the Clinton way.

Feel free to slap me next week when I'm proven wrong.

5. No. I'm rootin with you.
I'm AT the edge, as you can tell. If she doesn't step back, I'm not going over with her! :D

I'll believe with you.

8. both Rasmussen Markets and Intrade Markets predict a 81+% chance that Hillary will drop out in June

and a 91% to 94% chance that she will drop out before the end of July

http://www.intrade.com/jsp/intrade/contractSearch/

Of course this only reflects an educated guess of market forces. But nonetheless it's usually a fairly reliable predictor

11. July is really "too" late.
But if it stops the show, whatever!

I've seen a prediction for June 19th. I don't think she will be around after that date, if the information I have means anything.

15. I didn't really ask you to.
If the Democratic Party resolves the issue, DU will be resolved. I'm guessing you are powerless to effect that outcome.

16. DU isn't the Party.
The Party isn't destroying itself. All that arguing? It's because we have an embarrassment of riches, with two extremely popular candidates either one of whom could run rings around McCain.
