26. I did a search of NJS' posts from before his/her switch
And they are full of vitriol towards Clinton, just as his/her posts are now filled with vitriol towards Obama. i can understand switching candidates but I don't understand how you go from hating one to hating the other. Makes me suspicious...I think this poster also used the term "Democrat Party" at one point. What's up, NJS?

37. My thoughts exactly.
A reTHUG operative whose purpose is to attack and smear the Democratic frontrunner, whoever that may be. It sure would account for the switch and the vitriol, wouldn't it?

Said person is (again) on my ignore list, but at this point I don't need to see what was said to know it was worthless.

He was wonderful when he switched to Obama...but when he switches back to Hillary...he's an ass etc. in your book. Make up your feeble minds. I bet if he ends up voting for Obama...you will think he's just fabulous! But how will he crawl out from under that speeding bus?

Don't forget Obabots...others can change their mind too! :scared: Maybe more will get smart and care more for their country than their loyalty to Obama and realize that Obama's candidacy would be responsible for Democrats losing the general election.

40. Unfortunately for you the facts do not support your statement

The problem is that she starts out high and when she actually has to campaign her support goes down.

1) The evidence shows that she had a commanding lead but in the 8 months of campaigning has lost support.

2) Now Obama has a larger lead over Clinton in NY State

It is clear that she is a terrible campaigner and has squandered the advantages of name brand, money, connections and a schedule of primaryies that was rigged for her. Even in NY her numbers have gone down.

In any case it is all theoretical what is reality the more Clinton campaigns the lower her numbers go down. The more Obama campaigns the higher his numbers go.

How can somebody that polls second in their own home state be considered a stronger GE candidate - just doesn't make sense.

63. As a NY'er, I can vouch for this...
At least the part about NY state. I hate to sound like a broken record, but Hillary is going to have a very hard time up here even maintaining her senate seat. When people talk about her possibly aiming for gov of NY, I *know* they can't be NY'ers;) Obama would be a much much (dare I say it again?... much) stronger candidate against McCain up here.

47. None of the super delegates are obligated to make a decision now,
and they may change their minds as often as they take a breath.

Just as you can't call an election based on poll numbers, before votes are cast. The election is decided by votes, not by what the person says they will do before election day.

Anyone can change their minds right up to the point they cast a vote; there is no obligation to stick to what you told a pollster.

Given that simple reality, if the nomination is depending on super delegates to reach the magic number, then there won't be a candidate until the convention, when the votes are actually cast.
