Interesting article about Pakistan President family support for Obama
http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/W...ously_to_Obama/articleshow/3071643.cms

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf may continue to describe his US counterpart and Republican George Bush as his "good friend" but his family seems to be backing Democrat front runner Barack Obama in the American presidential race with "generous" donations.

7. Obama has received lots of money from ME billionaires
Nadhmi Auchi & Rezko, to name two. Obama has never had a problem with letting wealthy ME leaders buy into his campaign.

8. The rest of the story.......
Musharraf's brother and son, who are based in the US, have been making generous donations to Obama who is a strong opponent of the Bush administration. Naveed Musharraf, the president's brother, and Irum Bilal Musharraf, his daughter-in-law, have reportedly given donations to Obama instead of Republican Party's John McCain.

According to US federal election commission records, Musharraf's family has never been supportive of Republicans in terms of donations.

The family had supported John Kerry against George Bush in 2004, the News has reported. It is well known within the Pakistani community in the US that Musharraf's family, including his son Bilal, have been quietly asking him to revise his decision to continue fighting for his position.

------------------
Do you have links for your other allegations?

Guess that these folks must reside in the US legally, which is the only one can donate to a presidential campaign, and can only donate up to the standard $2,300.

------------------

That reminds to go and donate to Sen. Obama on this memorial Day. It is what I can do to commorate those who were sent into a war that they didn't have to fight, but were sent in anyways. :patriot:
