The main reason convention fights don't help Democrats
Edited on Mon May-26-08 07:57 AM by barack the house
The main reason is over the summer no candidate can fund ads addressing the Republican opponent. What we must do is donate to the DNC and to move on with a note to both for more mccain ads. In an ideal world we would donate to Obama but things are less than ideal. Whatever side you are on the fundamental fact is this is about mccain and the future. Just clarify your thoughts with this whatever negative feelings some detractors may have toward Obama will pale into insignificance when the completely bought and sold McCain sells all your hope down the drain, so wiser to focus. However some may feel about Obama now it is self evident he is not from the party that brought us here. There have been disputes btween the 2 camps but he has always respected Hillary voters as a whole, that is worth noting.

1. Is that a rule?
you can only attack Dems in a Dem primary?

if so, it's no wonder why this season has been so ugly.

3. ?
I'm literally asking if this is an FEC rule. Could Barack or Hillary run an ad attacking McCain tomorrow?
