Lieberman & Graham Serve on Policy Board of Advisors for an Anti-Obama 527 (Vets for Freedom)
Edited on Sun May-25-08 09:05 PM by cryingshame
it's kind of sad. While DU'ers continue their circle-jerk of Hillary obsessing hatred... at least other blogs and websites are moving the fight forward...

Vets for Freedom Policy Board of Advisors-
Senator Joe Lieberman (ID-CT), Honorary
Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC), Honorary

This runs directly contradictory to Senator John McCain's policy to remove any persons from his campaign who work openly with or for any 527 Organizations.

Policy in reference: No person with a McCain Campaign title or position may participate in a 527 or other independent entity that makes public communications that support or oppose any presidential candidate.

Vets For Freedom is a Smear Group using an Injured Vet openly in a slime commercial accusing Barack Obama directly of not meeting with veterans while wanting to meet with people who "Hate" America.

Contact Harry Reid this weekend and Ask him to Strip Lieberman of his Homeland Security Chair... And Notify the Media Now

Please spread this around to your media contacts. These are two of McCain's most public supporters and both are short listers. John McCain is flat out lying about ethics and here's the proof via comments h/t

Lieberman is co-chairman of McCain's campaign in Connecticut with U.S. Rep. Christopher Shays, R-Bridgeport.

Lindsey Graham is a National GENERAL CO-CHAIRMEN

Just today on Face the Nation, Linsey Graham admitted that he and Joe Lieberman joined the rest of the Veep Candidates for some "kid in a candy store" showing off with McCain and BBQ down at Cindy's Ranch...

The question begs itself:

**Why would John McCain openly associate itself with any Board Members of a 527?
**Why would Linsey Graham, appearing on Face the Nation this morning as he did, parrot the script of this 527 organization while standing in as a McCain supporter?
**Is John McCain secretly coordinating with the 527 through Lieberman and Graham, in order to smear Barack Obama?
**Will John McCain hold to his pledge to remove and or fire any person on his campaign who works for any 527 organization?
**Joe Lieberman and Linsey Graham just went to Iraq with John McCain.

According to the 527, it's been around longer than that trip back dates

Established by combat veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan on November 11, 2007 Veterans Day, VFFPAC will endorse and offer extended support through financial contributions and media assistance to Republicans, Democrats, and Independents who support victory in the Global War on Terrorism.

Yet reviewing their list of candidates, it's 100% Republican...

It's time the curtain is pulled back on John McCain's "Pledge" to run a clean campaign. Two of his closest and top advisors are Openly serving as Policy Advisors to an Anti-Obama Smear Group, and going on National Television parroting these same remarks.

11. I thought the FEC was going to be seated soon
could have sworn I read a story about it somewhere, but might be wrong.

I don't think the FEC is too big of a deal regarding Graham and Lieberman sitting on this policy board though. Obama will be able to call out McCain later for his hypocrisy, so I say let them continue to serve. It'll backfire in their faces. One of the Sunday news shows had an Obama supporting Senator facing off with Graham, and he brought up this 527 board thing.

9. I wish they could recall him
It's too bad they couldn't have a recall for his sorry ass, I don't think they have one for Senators.
