This gal has some incredible connections in the party, so I'm passing this excellent rumor along...

May 22 - Okay, I have a couple of friends who live in DeeCee and they get all the good rumors first. I got one today from my friend Kary who says this is a reliable source. I cut the incriminating information.

LLO, for whom I produce shows has been using the John Edwards campaign offices here in Southern Village, a beautiful complex of businesses and restaurants just down the road from my house.

He gave up his offices when he came out of the campaign.

This morning, we have been officially informed that Edwards campaign needs the offices back and we must move as of today.

Does that tell you who is going to be the vice-presidential nominee?

You figure it out.

You heard it here first.

7. Well, obviously that was in the past!
And I'm so glad to hear about this, a step in the right direction....however, what if, it is something else? What if this is about him being the selection from a brokered convention?? Hmm! Things that make you go, HMMMM?!!!

3. The polls indicate that Edwards would be the best choice for Obama.
I don't really know why though. Is it familiarity?

6. Edwards has a great message
For working class people, and the poor. His "two Americas" seems to be what the people are seeing right now. His plans to go after corporate America, and take on the lobbyists would have gotten him the nomination if not for the "history making" race this year. I think the people would have backed him because they really believed in what he was saying, he just couldn't get the MSM to acknowledge him, and since corporate America owns the MSM, I think we all know why!

He would make a good VP, but he would also make a great AG. I can see him now going after the crooks in the Bush administration, Halliburton, and all the other war profiters who have been robbing this country blind since Bush took office!

12. IIRC
when he was running Edwards actually polled better than Clinton and Obama in the GE match-ups
(i.e. with all voters not just Dems. However for some reason he wasn't as popular with Dems as the other two).

4. Does the VP candidate
Get his own offices to run things out of?

This could be his poverty program. They've been raising money and probably reached the thresh hold to start an office in DC for lobbying.

Office could be for one of his current projects or who knows?

13. That's what I'm thinking
He's been raising money for a little while and probably can now afford to start hiring staffers. They need a place to work.

17. I think it is. he's about to start a full on
campaign for it. I believe Obama is going to dedicate some time to do fundraising and speaking for him as well.

11. Say it ain't so!
:woohoo:

I think I prefer him as Attorney General because of all the corruption that needs to be cleaned up but I'd settle for VEEP.

14. Can't say what's up with this buzz but anything that puts John Edwards
in an influential position to affect change is a good decision.

16. He might just be contributing his offices and staff
to the guy he just endorsed. Obama has an amazing infrastructure on the ground couple that with Dean's 50-state strategy and that is one awesome boots on the ground stuff at work. Throw in Clinton's resources and the Republicans are toast. Look for Richardson to throw in too.
