Who would be acting in TV drama about Hillary Clinton's 2008 campaign?
I was thinking about how the movie would go...it's not over yet, so it's hard to tell what will be the Final Act. But here's a list of some of the main characters that I think would make for a great cast that best describes the Clinton Team:

Hillary Clinton - Edie Falco
Bill Clinton - Ben Afleck
Chelsea Clinton - Miley Cyrus
Maggie Williams - Jada Pinkett Smith
Terry McAuliffe - Jim Carrey
Patti Solis Doyle - Julia Louis-Dreyfus
Howard Wolfson - Chris Elliott
Madeleine Albright - Linda Hunt
Geraldine Ferraro - Glenn Close
Mark Penn - John Malkovich
Karl Rove - Will Ferrell
Barack Obama - Nick Cannon
Rupert Murdoch - Philip Seymour Hoffman
James Carville - Himself

I'm thinking the talking heads in the Royal Punditry would either be themselves of some fresh new faces.

1. No no
Glenn Close should be cast as Hillary. Didn't you see her as that witchy lawyer in Damages? Purrfect.

3. I think Glenn Close is too obvious for HRC in a movie
Edie Falco can play someone just as nuts.

33. I'm giving you my proxy on this issue. Glenn Close is the ONE.
The Damages character is really perfect for Hillary, too. You know there's something darkly evil and unright about her, but you seldom see the depths of that evil fully displayed.

7. No, no, no. Hugh Grant as Bill Clinton. He'd be divine. And…

Philip Seymour Hoffman as Hillary.

And John Waters as Karl Rove. He'd make the role really delish.

Of course, you can't have a Hillary campaign movie with her "experience" buddy John McCaingry, to be played by Anthony Hopkins.

One more: Phyllis Diller (love her!) as Geraldine Ferraro.

I don't think there is anyone else who would want to ruin their acting career that badly.

Maybe not in this dress, but with her hair up like that - I think she would make a great Clinton. She can be very demure, then turn and carry the attack quit realistically. Her performance in Rendition is one example of her alternate side.
