Kerry's military colleagues endorse him at convention. What about Bush?
The endorsements and testimonials of Kerry's swift boat colleagues at the Democratic Convention received a lot of play and played a big role in the bounce in the polls Kerry has received on him being a capable commander in chief.

Do you think Bush will try to pull a rabbit out of his hat (or one of his body cavities)? There's a part of me who thinks that the Republicans will pull off something where somebody will address the Republican Convention and say he served in the Air National Guard with Bush, including the five months of 1972 when his detractors claim he was AWOL.

Think that could happen?

If it doesn't, maybe the media should hound the President and ask him why he couldn't find people to testify on his military service the way Kerry's colleagues did.

1. They can't even justify his "honorable discharge"
and they challenge Kerry on his medals?!

(Btw, "honorable discharges" were given despite drug possession and use...)

Yeah, I'd like to see them trot out a few people to say, "I saw him there! He really did do uh, some of the things he was supposed to do!" They just don't want to go there.

4. So far
no one has really helped Bush out there.

If they try though, they'll find someone willing to lie for some of Dubya's money.
