3. They outdid themselves this time

Stunning collection of pictures. I can usually sneak one of my mediocre shots in without embarrassing myself too badly. Not this time. Every single one of them is a jaw dropper.

I deliberately ignored the submission thread this time ... both to stay ignorant of the 'WHO' and to enjoy the unveiling. As I scrolled back and forth, careful to NOT display the vote tally, I had a hard time keeping my favorites in line ... and then (as usual) found how differently some folks voted. I sometimes wonder if folks really understand how difficult it was to get some of those shots with the composition, light, color balance, clarity, depth-of-field and textures. Awesome shots. Just awesome.
