Birth Certificategate

So I'm listening to Warren Ballentine as I go to pick up my lunch, and a caller says that the wing nuts are putting the word out that Obama isn't a US Citizen, and won't produce (rather, CAN'T produce) his birth certificate to prove it.

Wasn't the man born in Hawaii??

Anyho, I did a Google and sure enough, I found some conversations:

I have family that lives just outside Chicago, in Westchester to be exact, and they have said there has been alot of talk up there before Obama ever ran for President, that he has never produced a valid US birth certificate.

It would seem like such a non-issue but considering all the time he spent early in life outside the USA, that it should have been asked early on.

I do think, that it would be a point to ask Obama at some point during all this campaigning to provide a valid birth certificate simply to verify that he is legit, considering all the early years of his life being outside the US.

I mean what if he wasnt and he became President or even VP? IT is after all against the Constitution of the US, to be a foreigner and run for the White House.

I mean if talk of this has been going on since before the Presidential elections ever got under way, in his home state, then you would think the guy would have provided one dont ya think?

My inquiring mind wants to know. Has anyone seen Obama’s birth certificate? Just to ease my curious mind, I would like to see it.

Should his birth certificate be in the public domain? Or not? I do not have a clue.

That aside, I recall that Dick Cheney's legitimacy to be VP was challenged because of his residency switcheroo at the last moment.

I don't think it's wrong to ask that he provide someone with his birth certificate. Dr. Dean would be a fine person to review it.
