I don't want Patti Solis Doyle in the Obama Campaign
i saw someone on tv talking about the merging of the campaigns for the national campaign. and there was mention of Doyle since she is from the same place as Obama.

i don't think she should get any top or any important position. wasn't she the one who was watching soap operas all day while working for Hillary ? and she messed up the funding also.

i think Obama should be careful about many of the people he brings in from the Clinton Campaign.

Mark Penn should not even be considered.

2. She can help - for example, she could be asked what to do, and then just do the opposite
:)

3. Gee look at the big wooden horsie somebody left out front
Normally I wouldn't be so paranoid, but this involves the slimy clintoons.

Obama will do the right thing (he always seems to do it) but it still makes me nervous.

5. No he should hire Mark Penn
Then Mark Penn can go on TV and say "Well, Chris, heh, with regard to Cindy McCain's drug problem, we don't plan to make this an issue."

7. Maybe she was a scapegoat
I don't think you get to the position of running a Presidential campaign by watching soaps all day.

13. She absolutely was the scapegoat for the fuckups of Penn, Ickes & co.
Edited on Wed May-21-08 08:48 PM by Tatiana
She took the fall for their incompetence.

She ran a very successful Senate campaign for Clinton and she was well-respected in Daley's City Hall.

Tell me what has Maggie done better than Patti? The answer is nothing.

8. She has significant connections, particularly within the Hispanic community.
So, yeah, it actually makes sense.

11. Hell, Daschle and one of his top aides are advisors
PSD can't be as dangerous to overall effectiveness as Timid Tom.

I just hope Obama doesn't find himself in an echo chamber of strategists who want to chase after marginal voting blocs like Penn did for Hillary. Acute triangulation is very obtuse.
