Breaking: Hillary Says She May Take It To The Convention
Clinton may take delegate fight to convention

BOCA RATON, Fla. (AP) - Hillary Rodham Clinton says she is willing to take her fight to seat Florida and Michigan delegates to the convention if the two states want to go that far. In an interview with The Associated Press, Clinton was asked whether she would support the states if they continue the fight.
The presidential candidate said Wednesday, "Yes I will. I will, because I feel very strongly about this."

Clinton is calling for delegates from both states to be seated at the convention based on the primaries. Both states were stripped of their delegates because they voted early, violating national party rules. Clinton won both states; Barack Obama's name wasn't on the Michigan ballot.

The DNC's rules committee will hear an appeal on May 31.

1. Great news!
Glad to hear Hillary won't give up her fight. She has no reason to. Obama will not win 2025 pledged delegates before the convention.

31. He may not get the pledged delegates but
He is going to hit 2025 long before Hillary. He will have the supers and the nomination by June 15. As much as may be said to the contrary that will be the case. Hillary will most likely get the nod for VP but she probably wont accept it at will have a say in who will be The Vice president. Any moves are her campaigns party will ultimately cause capital damage to Party. If she does that she won't be elected to be dog catcher.

39. Great news for McCain, not for Democrats.
If she refuses a compromise at the Rules Committee, the SDs need to show her to the door.

21. Sorry, but it's true.
From her repugnant actions here to refusing to pay vendors for their goods and services while she leeches money from her supporters to pay back loans she made to herself from her own personal fortune, to her implied racism and outright lying--she's scum to me.

15. Ahh, fuck this.
I've been trying to be gracious and nice and not offend Clinton supporters and all that.

But I'm sick of reading about this underhanded, double-dealing, sneaky bullshit from Clinton.

She doesn't want party unity. She wants quite the opposite, from the look of things.

Get out of the way, Hilly. We have an election to win, and you are not helping.

Oh and that VP thing? Go check with McCain, maybe he needs a VP. You've lost any claim to any position on this ticket.

41. One point, this is what she knows and how she has lived.
It is going to be hard to keep out any one with this type thinking. Most people in this country are used to it. Many seem to feel it is normal. I think I would like to think that also, if I did not see the rest of the world leaving the US behind as it gets on with new things and ways to live. To get to another point I think about. Just who thinks that the poorer white people of the Appalachian Mts. will vote for Hillery or Obama in Nov? They are going to vote for the white man who was in the service so long.

33. I don't see the problem.
This is politics! To blame Hillary for splitting the party is insane, she does have people who do support her like it or not.

So to say as has been said for months now for her to just drop out is to say to hell with the people who support her.

I don't call that fair just because it is numbers who say she can't win. She has every right to stay in the race.

If it were Obama who was behind it would be the same damn thing.

Florida was offered a paid for re-vote by NY mayor and others yet Obama does not want this.

One thing that is really insane is to say Hillary is splitting the party , no, you can say the people who support her and the people who support Obama are splitting the party but that's all that can be said in all fairness.

personally I don't feel any of the three candidates have the path out of the mess we are in. None will get the fuel prices lowered or the jobs back or fight against the corporations who control everything or find the bush admin guilty of high crimes.

That is the main beef I have , it just gets swept under some rug and just move on no matter who has been beaten into the dirt because of the last 7 1/2 years.

This country has a way of pushing dirt in the hole to bury the past as always. Only those who survive matter never those who did not for whatever reason.

37. In all honesty, if it were Obama in her position I would want him to concede.
But I realize I'm not as nutty as a lot of people, especially some of the Hillary supporters. Both candidates having nutty suporters, but Hillary's seem to be the extreme. It's funny becasue they always used to call Obama the cult leaders, but these days Hillary's supporters are by far the bigger kool-aid drinkers.

FYI: This is an objective opinion. I support Obama, but like I said, I'm not as caught up in all of this as a lot of you are. Believe it or not, but the Hillary supporters have surpassed Obama's in insanity. I mean, she lost the pledge delegates. The rules say pledge delegates elect. So, why shouldn't she get out? If Obama were in her position I'd wonder why he isn't getting out. This is ridiculous and why anyone would want this to go to the convention is beyond me. The Hillary supporters have lost their minds if they want this to go till August. They both have the same policies for Pete's sake. Does it really matter which one puts them into effect? People need to get over these obessions and wake the hell up.
