As John Kerry nears Oregon to conclude a two-week, twenty state “Believe in America” tour across the country, more details of his appearances in Oregon are now available.
Kerry and his wife, Teresa Heinz Kerry, will arrive in Medford on Thursday afternoon and attend a public rally at Fichtner Mainwaring Park. In Portland the following day, another large public rally will be held at Waterfront Park. Oregon residents General Tony McPeak and Jim Rassmann will also join the Kerrys on their travels through Oregon. Both events are free and open to the public. Ticketing information for the Medford event is available below.
“The vision and values that John Edwards and I have set out in ‘Our Plan for America’ can bring our country together again,” said John Kerry. “We can build stronger communities. We can secure equality and strengthen opportunity. We can demand and support responsibility from all. For us, these values are not just words. They’re about the causes we champion and the people we fight for.”
