Hillary and her campaign remind me of Bush and the Iraq War
Edited on Sat May-17-08 02:49 PM by Bleachers7
Hillary is Bush. Out of touch. Can't admit she's wrong. Doesn't know when it's over. Bush declared Mission Accomplished May 2003. Hillary declared Mission Accomplished in Florida. Bush: Looting doesn't matter. Hillary: Small states don't matter. Caucuses don't matter.

Bill is Cheney. Angry. Defensive. And wrong from the start.

McAuliffe is Rummy. Has no freaking clue what's happening. No plan. Spewing pointless bullshit. Rummy: 6 days, not 6 years. McAwful: Over on Super Tuesday.

Hillary's supporters are PNAC. PNAC: We won. Hillaryis404: We're winning. PNAC:Iraq has been liberated, don't you get it? Hillaryis404: We're winning 5% of the people; don't you get it.

Hillary has made many of the same mistakes. I'm glad that someone so similar to Bush will not get to be the next president.

1. to be fair to McAwful
I thought it was gonna be over on Super Tuesday as well. I am such a pessimist. I was sure she would win almost all of the states 55-45 and the media would declare her the winner.

3. I had a feeling it might go past Feb. 5.
It was too soon in the campaign to establish a front runner.

4. Our primary is Tuesday; she's on the (D) ballot; I'll vote for her.

That sure as hell doesn't compare to anything I've ever said about Bush.

Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh

5. I hate these comparisons of Hillary to bush or Obama to bush
They're spurious bullshit and nothing but flamebait.

6. Your manufactured indignation is duly noted.
But that doesn't change the fact that there are comparisons between Bush's war and Hillary's campaign.

8. Your bullshit comparison of a war that's killed hundreds of thousands
and injured and dispossessed millions, to a fucking political campaign is duly noted- with contempt. I'm all for criticizing Hillary for voting for that war and supporting it, but comparing her campaign to the Iraq war, is just.... dumb.

9. Sorry that you don't understand it.

But the comparisons are there and I am not the first one to make it (Namely Colbert http://rawstory.com/rawreplay/?p=883). Bush killed thosands. Hillary wasted millions. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it's not valid.

10. Joining others who have made a stupid comparison hardly validates
it. Petty and stupid is still petty and stupid.
