Obama needs 126 delegates to clinch the nomination now. I'll project that he'll pick up 88 in the remaining primaries. That leaves with him around 38 he needs. There's 19 days till the last primaries. That means he just needs an average of about two superdelegate endorsements a day. He's been getting way more than that lately.
Obama might be timing superdelegate endorsements so it's the delegates he gets from South Dakota and Montana that put him over the top, not some superdelegates. But whatever the case, it's pretty damn close to over.
2. For a long time now I've said Hillary will stay until the last primary, and
I don't blame her for that. She's fighting for the big prize! Since the last primary is on June 3rd, I expect she will concede before the end of that week.
