Another superdelegate for Obama...
as reported on the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel site this morning @ 9:59 a.m.:

"A previously undecided superdelegate from Wisconsin is endorsing Illinois Sen. Barack Obama.

College student Awais Khaleel announced his decision in a video posted on YouTube. Khaleel did not immediately respond to messages seeking comment Wednesday.

The 23-year-old Khaleel had posted another YouTube video in which he solicited comments from college students about who he should back. In the new video, Khaleel says thousands of e-mails and messages came in and Obama was the overwhelming favorite"

4. How the hell does this college student get to be a Super Delegate
It's great that he is supporting Obama, but I can't for the life of me figure out why he gets to be one.

5. He's President (or VP) of the College Democrats of America, representing a huge amount of campus
progressives. He deserves to be a SD more then a lot of people.

6. Because one party is interested in getting millions of young people on board
and another party wants to keep the capital gains tax down.

If you get a person to vote for a particular party three GE in a row it is astronomically high that that person will identify with that party for the rest of their life.

9. This was the endorsement I have been waiting for!
Edited on Wed May-14-08 11:19 AM by Zachstar
They did not just instantly endorse they used the time to gain interest on the internet which directly translates to votes come November because they are going to tell their friends.

The most effective use of the super status I have seen yet!

McCain must be pissing his pants! No Netroots and Paul supporters are forming a giant speedbrake for his campaign!

NEVER underestimate the political power of the youth and young adults!!
