Well. Now I Can Understand Where Some Pro-Obama DUers Get It From
Tonight is the first time all season I left the TV on MSNBC for coverage.

What assholes. What a bunch of towel-snapping, sarcastic, self-important puffbags!

2. Are they still talking about Hillary being "inevitable?"
Last time I watched MSM, that is what they were doing. Chris Matthews would ask "Who is the GOP going to run against Hillary," as if it was already decided. I haven't watched since, but that was many, many weeks ago. Are they still saying that?

4. Good. If she had a big lead in the delegates, I'd undertand
but at that point in time she didn't.

5. He did that all the time, didn't he? Drove me nuts. I seem to remember
more than one commentator referring to her as the "presumptive nominee" way back when, but I could be wrong on that. I'll have to check.

10. I think they talked like that for at least two years!
Since February the song has changed. Who would guess?

11. It felt like it anyway...our campaigns run for an obscenely long
period of time; it's insane, really...

12. Where in my post did I "blame it onto" Hillary? We are talking about MSM.
Stay focused.

8. You're way out of the loop. They've been sucking up to Obama for months.

It's fisgusting. "News" is not supposed to involved salivating over a candidate. Matthews had a thrill run up his leg when he heard Obama's speech on race, the one where he said he couldn;t disown Wright, not the one where he disowned Wright. He actually said a thrill ran up his leg. Wait til he sees the crotch shots BO was providing to the female reporters on the plane.

14. So they were talking about Obama being inevitable when he didn't even have a
pledged delegate lead? That is pretty lame. They did it for Hillary too, so I guess they will do it for anyone.

6. Better go back to Fox
where 90% of the coverage has been fair, according to the Clinton campaign. :eyes:

15. Bravo. Dan Abrams is pretty fair...
Edited on Tue May-13-08 08:47 PM by cici4691
and they preempt his show every chance they get. David Gregory has been pretty fair as well. Joe Scarborough has been an outright Hillary cheerleader so we won't count him but every other male anchor on that network has acted like an ass.

16. I thought it was an excellent speech.

But the punditry, wherever it is in the MSM, sucks. I mean that for always, whether or not they seem to throw a bone to Clinton or Obama (or etc. dem personage) here and there. I hate it the way the "pundits" on the MSM search for words, phrases, vid clips, which they can spin so's to create a totally polarized message, that they spin for weeks on end. I hate it the way people get sucked into that spin and forget the point.

They don't even acknowledge the validity of the description "progressive" - continuously talking trash about a "center" that follows their neverending spin about what is "left" or "right". What is fact and what is fiction.

Bleah.

But it was a good speech. Positive, on message, not negative.
