I believe it's time to put a fork in the "you can only win with the DLC" meme
for the last three elections, the DLC always told us we had to give up our support of gay rights, our anti-war positions, our anti-corporatist stances, and to fall into line with the DLC to win elections, no matter how much we might not like the candidate of their choice, it was what we had to do in order to win.

well.... don't look now, but I think we can finally put a fork in that false meme.

the point is, the voters have spoken, and they didn't need the DLC to try coopt their message.

1. Just Look at their Track Record
not only can you not win with them, they will try to tear their own party apart and work with the other side to ensure their own political ambitions.

We need politicians to take progressive stands, not more Lieberturds.

5. Best outcome of this election so far IMHO
I was thrilled when I came to the realization that Howard will retain his seat and that Harold ford will be reduced to talk show pundit.

8. Please send the new info to Cokie Roberts.
I half-way listened to This Week yesterday, and Cokie was so terribly concerned that we weren't nominating someone like Evan Bayh.

ARRRRGGGGGHHHHHH!
