I hope that this doesn't suddenly consume the media, drowning out the superdelegate shift -- but I put nothing past them at this point.

1. I think McCain was referencing this....
Hamas political adviser Ahmed Yousef, who in an interview Sunday with WABC radio and WorldNetDaily said the terrorist group supports Obama’s foreign policy vision.

Yousef said in the interview: “We don’t mind — actually we like Mr. Obama. We hope he will the election and I do believe he is like John Kennedy, great man with great principle, and he has a vision to change America to make it in a position to lead the world community but not with domination and arrogance.”

4. Yeah, it would suck if Hamas could be persuaded to give up its extremism
Next thing you know, peace might break out.

2. From the article...
“Perhaps because of his inexperience Senator Obama surrounds himself with advisers that contradict his stated policies,” (Scheunemann) said.

I heard Obama say that refusing to talk to those the US disagrees with is not sound foreign policy. Therefore, this adviser has NOT contradicted Obama's "stated policies”.

3. or perhaps
because of his intelligence he is simply open to hearing differing ideas, you know unlike Bush...

Perhaps he also understands that talking to someone is not the same as agreeing with them, it is simply talking. Often, talking yeilds better results than simply dropping bombs now and asking questions later, again offering his usual subtle contrast to Bush.

On edit:

This really doesn't bode well. Why is our candidate engaging in this GWB-type behavior?

Anyone with 2 brain cells knows that Hamas is going to have to be brought into the equation. Why the knee-jerk stupidity on Obama's part??

What a disappointment.

And sad, because he should learn that those pro-Israel types who hate him, will hate him no matter how much butt he kisses. He should keep his dignity and do the right and smart thing, and preserve his options.
