12. Almost all of those are defending himself against Hillary's ugly attacks.
He's absolutely correct. Hillary ran a nasty campaign against him and he's right to point that out. If Hillary doesn't want Obama saying those things then she should have run an honest, clean campaign.

21. They are all pretty mild statements as well.
Not only are the statements factual, but he doesnt even hit her as hard as he could have on anything...

I just a read a LOOOOng list of a guy straining himself to pull his punches.

Funny that these relativly mild talking points are the most "negative" or "divisive" things that they can dig up...

17. I think Hillary should give several major campaign speeches where she reads off this list.
That would really put Obama in his place for once and for all!!!

At the least, all her surrogates should go on TV tonight and read off this list- DEM primary voters would never tolerate Obama if they knew he said such horrible, unfounded things. ;)

20. "01/27/08 Obama likens Hillary to 'the status quo, fighting back with everything it's got.'
This passes for a vicious attack or lie in HillLand?

Some of you Hillary supporters have the glassiest jaws I've ever seen. No wonder you need "the fighter" to come save you, at the slightest hint of dissent you buckle like a belt. At this point I've determined that the meme of "Obama can't handle the GOP smears" aren't a prediction, they're a projection.

31. One of the salient themes that emerges
is the Obama campaign constantly calling Clinton dishonest, or alluding to Clinton's "dishonesty." We've seen these smear campaigns before - as low-down politics as it gets.

36. B/c you are looking for lies, smears & race baiting against a DEM as evidence of a fighter.
Edited on Thu May-08-08 06:04 PM by Dr Fate
While others in the party see a difference between how you go after a DEM in primary and how you go after the GOP in the general.

I have a newsflash for you- Hillary wont use RW talking points concerning patriotism, elitsm, race or religion against McCain-and the media will NEVER let her use race or religion based guilt by association or any other Rovian tactics against him either- take those things away and what does "the fighter" have left?

Just b/c you dont see Obama doing what Hillary, Bush or Rove have done doesnt mean he has not been effective...In fact, he is winning. Go figure.

Where is the fight in the man? I would ask "the fighter" herself from her position of 2nd place.
