I was outside in my car listening to Sirius Indie and they had the guy who runs this organization on. Apparently, this guy was balls deep in the swiftboating of John Kerry. Yes, he's a crazy nutball conservative but if this shit catches on, this might change the dynamic of the race drastically. They've got money and a big head start because they've been after McCain since 2000. Expect to start seeing ads soon.

McCain never spoke out against the war except when reading statements. Kerry had a history with the medal throwing and what not.

Questioning McCain's service only gives him an opening to talk about it.

10. My dad was a Vietnam Vet

and he hated both Kerry and McCain for using their service in the war in politics so I understand where they are coming for him

On the otherside my bestfriend's dad is a vietnam vet who is supporting McCain for that reason and supported Kerry for that reason.

McCain hugged my mom when she told him she was an army nurse there....its complex and I hate when we refight this war every 4 years.

The Sampley group are the ones Kerry has dealt with for years and yes, they went against McCain too.

The second group, the Swift Boat Veterans, are the ones that attacked his service and the validity of the medals. That part came pretty much out of nowhere. I don't think JK had ever had his actual service questioned before. Obviously he didn't think anybody would believe you could get medals if you hadn't earned them. Who would think Americans would believe such insanity?

But this Sampley group are just a bunch of kooks and I wish they would be banned from this site.
