Yes, TOUGH language from me, an honorably discharged US Army Veteran. For a solid majority of the country, the economy is #1. Not me. Economies rebound. Dead soldiers don't. I'm a realist. There are indeed times when in an imperfect world military action is justified, but the Iraq War, my #1 issue, most certainly was not and I have been unabashedly opposed to this colossal policy blunder from day one. 4000+ dead Americans. Tens of thousands more maimed. How many more? How many more widows and widowers, motherless and fatherless children, devistated parents and other relatives? I honestly respect McCain's own service. And though he does not abjectly wish for more deaths, his wholehearted embrace of the policy that guarantees these deaths to continue indefinitely is, in a word, abhorrent. THIS IS A NO-BRAINER. I'm for Obama, but I would crawl through a hail storm to work for EITHER of them to end this incredibly immoral war. Anyone who votes for John McCain, sits out, or goes Nader (who is foolish and will never, ever, ever, win at least on this planet) in my view has blood on their hands. Yes, tough talk, but reality is reality. There is a choice to be made here, and the issues and options are clear as the finest crystal. This election is literally a matter of life and death. I choose LIFE. I choose THE DEMOCRAT !
