First Topic Post - Got my Mom to register!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I talked to my Mom about the upcoming election. She has not voted in about 30 years. One issue that she cares about is stem cell research. Probably because I had a serious spinal cord injury when I was 17 years old. I'm 33 now and still suffer from its effects. I said to her that she should register to vote. So I got the ball rolling on it by dropping off voter registration forms that I printed out from the internet. I called her today and she said she is going to fill it out and send it in. She will be voting for Kerry this November. Thats one more vote for Kerry in PA. Everyone else in my family is voting for Kerry except my nimrod brother. He's a fan of Rush Limbaugh, Bill O'liely, and Sean Hannity. He has been brainwashed. I have not talked to him in a year. He has always been a bully to me. It really is no surprise to me that he is a Republican.

9. If everyone does what you are

doing- talk to your left leaning friends and family, make sure they are registered, then make sure they get to the polls on election day-we will win on turnout alone. Great job!
