1. Rush urged NC voters to do the same thing as Indiana voters
I don't think Rush had that big of an impact.

9. I just wonder what our soldiers would think about this subversion of the Democratic system they are
fighting to preserve and uphold.

3. It was said on MSNBC just a few moments ago that what he did was disgusting.

Maybe it didn't make a big difference but it goes against the spirit of Democracy to subvert the true will of the people.

6. Didn't some exit poll in IN
show that 40% of the people who said they had just voted for HC planned to vote for McCain in Nov? Looks like Rush had some impact. Which maked this tight margin in IN all the more significant.

4. Yes, and he uses a military metaphor to promote it to his followers
He's the "Commander" and they call in to "report for duty" in Operation Chaos. All this from someone who avoided military service by claiming a pimple on his ass.

A sick, Un-American bunch.

11. Is he still on Armed Forces Radio, in violation of the Hatch Act?
That he and other RW hate monger radio heads got on Armed Forces Radio speaks volumes about the current junta and how hard they have to work to keep our troops misinformed.

12. If ever there forms a line to smack that shitbag with a sack of oranges,
I want to be at the front of that line.

However, what he's doing is unethical, but not illegal. And frankly, we did it too. We encouraged people to vote for Mitt Romney or Huckabee in open primaries to keep McCain or whoever was the front runner hemmoraging money.

Bottom line, these tactics are only going to amplify as the general draws near. We can complain this is unfair, or we can get to work on our own measures. We are at a disadvantage of sorts, because we not only claim to be ethical, we actually attempt to do so. Pubs just claim it. We have to use Judo more than Karate.
