Are you excited about today?
Are you excited about tonight's primaries? OMG, I am. We're only 2 hours away from the first polls closing now and I'm starting to not be able to concentrate on other stuff. LOL. The exit polls should be out in just 35-40 minutes. I'll be looking for the AA vote, the white men vote and the late decider vote to get a good sense of which way Super Tuesday III is breaking.

This is the first primary in a LONG time where we don't have a pre-odained winner. We knew Obama would win MS, Wisconsin, Virginia. We knew Clinton would win Ohio and Pennsylvania. This time the polls are close enough that things could go either way.

I haven't been this excited since Iowa. I have a feeling that it'll be a good night for Obama. Maybe that's why I'm excited.

This is the primary that will set the tone for who gets the nomination as well, I believe. Even more reason to be excited. What networks and websites do you plan to frequent? I'll be on CNN mostly and DKOS, DU and Drudge for the exit polls.

Any special parties with friends planned to watch the results? This is the night that could end it all. We're in for a bumpy ride.

4. Thanks-I just want it to be over as well
But one of my passions is politics so I love nights like these. Absolutely love them.

6. Today is not the end.
If I actually thought that Clinton would quit the race after today I'd be excited. But I don't, so I won't.

Funny how you went from trashing Obama just days ago to rooting for him tonight.

that he will be looking at the AA vote. Hillary will never get the Alcoholics Anonymous vote after that shooter of bourbon.

10. Nope. I feel pushed aside and marginalized
and if I feel that way NOW, I can only imagine how people will feel in November.

Basically, I feel sad.

12. Just enough to check the results about midnight.
This has been the most boring, and ridiculous, campaign I've been subjected to.

Two moderates, with few differences, spitting at each other about preachers, flag-pins, and "toughness".

But I am nervous too:yoiks: I think I was psychologically scarred in '04 by Kerry's loss. That night it looked like everything was all going so well... well, until it started going badly:( Ever since then election nights have been very anxiety producing.

Plus I am sporting a killer toothache (holy, schmoly! pain like none other... I'll take back labor with a ten pound baby over this any day, lol) Anyway.. here's hoping to a great night with quick and decisive returns!

Today is all we have-the present I mean-tomorrow is not here, yesterday is gone, all we have is now-the power of NOW! It's awesome to revel in it, if you can!

19. No. I'm depressed. Obama will be the nominee, but he's not going
to be able to take the fight to McCain until too late in the game. It will jeopardize November.
