Good People of North Carolina and Indiana, please read this short post before you vote today
“For we have a choice in this country. We can accept a politics that breeds division, and conflict, and cynicism.
-
We can do that.
-
But if we do, I can tell you that in the next election, we'll be talking about some other distraction. And then another one. And then another one. And nothing will change.”

These are the words of Barack Obama

Please say NO to politics as usual.
Vote for change.
Vote for Obama.
Thank you

13. Just as their candidate has become like george bush, her supporters have become like
Bush supporters. Name calling is stock and trade for your typical right winger.

11. That doesn't mean it's not a vote against the party, hillary has done more damage to the Dems
then all the republicans combined. Yet she woudln't be able to hurt the party, if there weren't supporters that are enabling her ramapge of destruction.

20. I'll defend you; you're entitled to vote for who you want. No one should
tell anyone differently. That's why there's a Dem choice.
I wish everyone would quit with the name-calling. Most unbecoming. :hi:

18. That is VERY MUCH what this election is about....

...someone on DU recently declared that "Obama is the American Dream"

Of course HE isn't. But he is the epitome of of what it means.

My response was "well that explains why Clinton and the GOP are trying to destroy him then."

Ever since the New Deal and before, the GOP and now, people like the Clintons have been trying to destroy The American Dream - NOT Obama - but the ability of ALL OF US to be able to achieve what he has AND in the process of course, him.

You may not like Obama or think HE is important. But are YOU? How about your KIDS? What about YOUR dreams and THEIRS?

The GOP, George bu$h and the Clintons have done and intend to CONTINUE to do severe damage to OUR FUTURE and our children's futures - and the REASON they got away with it and CONTINUE to get away with it - WITH OUR CONSENT - is because of the politics of DISTRACTION.

NOW...

You can vote for more of the same old DISTRACTION politics, which diverts our attention from the REAL ISSUES in our lives - while OUR DREAMS are pulled right out from under ALL of us AND our children, or we can vote for REAL CHANGE.

We can VOTE FOR THE AMERICAN DREAM - OUR American dreams.

We can vote FOR our own best interests instead of against them - and we can vote AGAINST those most likely to continue destroying OUR DREAMS with their DISTRACTIONS and slash-and-burn old-style politics.

YES we CAN vote for Obama - for REAL CHANGE - instead of more REPUBLICANS and their slash-n-burn distraction politics.
