Everyone has read a thousand times since the 2000 election that the media has forgotten how to stand up and do their job.
Timing in life is everything, my Dad used to tell me. It seems like this is the time to start writing, calling, emailing the media and reminding them of their responsibility. They must stand up now and be journalists. Grow a set!
They are creatures of the marketplace, and the marketplace has ooched our way. Before too long we will really need them to tell people the truth about what is going on.

i feel you are more than right about the media. what you are saying truly can not be overstated. what i wanted to let you know is that the people of DU work constantly, many without even a moment's rest, doing exactly that.

so please, as you see media corrections, criticizing, commenting called for, post them and it will probably happen. many issues will bring a response from nearly everyone - so urgent and crucial are these issues.

because, as you clearly know, the media is relentlessly propagandizing!
