1. You're watching him on pourpose?
He could run as Bush's VP choice, should Cheney keel over tomorrow.

9. Yep, I like him
You are right, there aren't too many of his supporters on here. But I realize that there is room in the party for a moderate like Joe L. Seems like the litmus test that many on here want to use to be a True Democrat is pretty narrow. That's a great outlook if you want one party to gain ever more political control, i.e. Republicans, however it does nothing to make middle of the road moderates feel like they are welcome in the party.

I respected him for speaking out against Clinton when he did and I respect him for voting his conviction. I also respect his deep sincere faith. Seems like Dean has decided in the last week that faith should be important. I'm not a fan of joe L's push for censorship in the past.

Many of the "I'm against intolerance" crowd on here is anything but when it comes to having a view other than their own.

11. I also like Joe - a 70% Dem of good heart - and better than any GOP
but I prefer the folks that score near 100% -

and am in pig heaven when an 85% Dem like Clinton or Dean or Gep or Kerry or Edwards or Clark get in (100% Dems only win in Newton Mass - and Barney is my man!)

12. My dislike of Lieberman goes way back...........
to when he was calling for restrictions on free speech by censoring music, video games and movies. Then the Clinton thing and that sent me over the edge as far as Joe was concerned. He makes me uneasy for some reason. But my biggest bone to pick with him was when he decided to run for President. I felt/feel he stabbed Gore in the back. I mean I know that he waited for Gore to say one way or the other but I think he should not have run at all.

14. Hey, he's welcome in the Party
I just don't want him for a presidential candidate. He may be "middle of the road," but the particular road he's in the middle of is veering way too far to the right for me, thanks.
