Poll question: If you decide not to vote in November, will you feel guilty later?
If you are firm in your conviction not to vote in November,

will you feel guilty as the country falls even farther behind?

1. I'll Vote for Whoever Limps Out of the Democratic Convention
but I'll need one of these (for either one)

5. Yeah but there is no such thing as a 'perfect' candidate.....
I've held my nose and used clothespins on some many elections too. It comes down to...

... ME versus the whole country and who is the better choice for all. When I look at it outside

myself? I have to vote for the best candidate for the betterment of the masses, as close as I can.

13. You claim to be 'astute' and then criticize my poll questions....
yet... you admit it's your EGO (self centered EGO) driving your decision not to vote?

16. And I'm sad that you think you're smarter and better than everyone else.
Edited on Fri May-02-08 09:22 PM by Breeze54
:(

And that you think you are making a 'point' by hurting those that

are hurting bad by enabling another RETHUG pretzel!

You are bordering on being a turncoat, a traitor. :puke:

21. Would you care to point out where I claimed to be "smarter and better"?
And for that matter, where I claimed to be more "astute"?

Get a fucking grip. My disagreeing with the way you framed your poll questions is not the end of life as we know it.

(Not that that would necessarily be a bad thing...)

23. Awe... feeling guilty so soon?
I guess you'll have to wrestle with that... It's your conscience.

You'll have four looong years to listen to the hate you inflicted.

Have fun!

Okay, yeah, whatever.

You might at least be grateful that I've helped kick your poll. :D

I'll be very disappointed in you, at the same time, if you don't value your
vote and the people it will effect and use it to help right this ship! :(

30. Well, I wish you'd understand that if I did decide to not vote, it would a decision reached through
much careful consideration. It would have nothing to do with my "ego" -- and it's simplistic and insulting to assert that "ego" would be the only possible reason for someone to choose not to participate in what is so clearly a farce.

Peace,
sw

32. But you voted for Option # 1... The EGO vote!
How could I think otherwise?

If you think your withholding your vote will make some sort of statement to the electors
or the American people or the powers that be, then you are sadly mistaken and haven't been
paying attention!

EVERY VOTE COUNTS

YOU matter. Your VOTE matters.

People are hurting... really badly....

How can you decide to throw that vote away when you have the power in your hands?

35. At this point voting for Clinton will enable the Republicans
I'm starting to think that the Democratic Party would have been better off if Bill Clinton lost in '92.

6. My vote was a lie, but its not my fault!
Sorry the last option was too funny and I was weak!

I'm voting, and for the democrat, I just couldn't help myself. Chalk it up to "not understanding the ballot" (I guess better move to Florida)

22. I am not a huge fan
of either of the two remaining DEM candidates. I voted for Kucinich in my primary. But the people have spoken and it's either going to be Obama or Clinton. Whichever one wins the nod, that's who I will vote for!

And it was a huge disappointment but, as you say, the people have spoken.

I'll be there voting for a DEM in November, as well. ;)

It is time to vote for the one who shares your values and does not lie or cheat to become our candidate. I will vote for a good candidate of for noone at all. I may even vote for John in a rejection of cheating, hmmm.

31. Anyone who threatens not to vote in November should be forced to watch the 60 Minutes interview with
Scalia over and over again until they see the folly of that statement. Yes, it would be torture but remember the Constitution rules out cruel and unusual punishment, not torture. :puke:
