On Edit: Note: I was about to write my rant against the poster of a so-called 'doctored' video, when I discovered the video was back up and restored by YouTube. There's only one explanation for YouTube doing a reversal...it means the video was accurate. This story certainly is interesting.

If you have the right type of audio equipment, it is DEFINITELY there. A pre-amp and an equalizer are all that is needed. Headphones are helpful. The video that is up is accurate.

I am a photographer. When i go into a darkroom and work with a difficult negative, i "dodge" and "burn" the print by exposing some portions a little more or less, depending on how "thin" or "thick" the negative is. I am not adding something that isn't already there. Audio engineers do the same thing... when a scene is miked and someone whispers they adjust the audio AFTERWARDS. (unless it's scripted and they know that they're going to whisper... in which case, they usually cut-away to a close-up of a face so you don't see the mic hanging an inch above the head)

This clip was from a movie. Someone felt like they wanted to know what Kantor whispered and subsequently ran the audio...

simple as that really.

Kantor knew he was being filmed and he must have known what he was saying was bad, otherwise why would he have whispered both the offending remarks?

I am a youtube musician. They have algorithms that look for CERTAIN copyrighted material when the video is being processed, but I doubt that "The War Room" is on that list.

For the most part, youtube relies on the viewers to flag objectionable content, and pulling said video takes time.

How do I know this? I do covers of bass-oriented music. Out of 84 videos I've done, only Sublime's "Santeria" got a flag. The flag appeared within 15 minutes of me posting the video. Thankfully, the price that I had to play was to have a couple extra advertisements in the margins of my video page. Not a big deal, but it let me know how the system worked.

As someone now supporting Obama, I have been angered at those who have been putting Wright's words into Obama's mouth with which to smear Obama, and have been even angrier at Hillary Clinton for helping to smear Obama's character with his ex-pastor's words.

I thought it was offensive, but then the original showed up, and I didn't hear the "n" word, and I tried to hear it. I really agree we shouldn't push this one. It could look bad on Obama if they start saying that "Obama supporters" are pushing it, I do not want to be guilty of doing that to him, he has enough on his plate. I WAS guilty of forwarding a link to it myself when I thought it was real, but sent another email saying it had been debunked with an apology. I don't think I'll go down that road again.

I think we should be on the media asking them to talk about John McCain admitting we're fighting and our soldiers are dying for oil. That's way more serious, and disgusting.
