The primary in perspective: This is all "to be expected." Think of it this way:
Do you really think the power of the white house will change hands gracefully?

Do you really expect a young upstart like Obama to come in and pull the rug out from under the "powers that be" without alot of knashing of teeth and beating of chest?

Obama is making inroads in the grassroots like nothing any of us have ever seen, at least since the Kennedys. He's a huge threat to corporate status quo. He got in ounder the radar while the radar was watching Hillary.

Woops! "Who's that guy?!" "What's he doing here?" The media didn't take Obama seriously until he had already secured his delegate lead. Of course they're going to turn on him. Would you expect anything else?

That's why he remains calm in the face of all the little annoying "scandals." He knows he doesn't have anything hidden that can take him down. And he knows HRC can't undo the math, now. Even if they do split the 2 unseated states, he's still got it, and he knows it.

So, let these little dramas come and go. It's all fine. Everything is happening exactly as we s hould expect. Except the powers that be are pissed. They're not invited to the prom.

NOT THIS TIME!

1. What Surprises Me - In The Movies If This Was Being Portrayed The American
voters would overwhelmingly be for a guy like Obama.

It's interesting that the MSM and in this case I mean - Hollywood - would put that image out to us kind of pacify us as to how neat things would be if that happened - but in reality - when there is a chance for that to really happen - the MSM - and in this case I mean - newspapers, news networks - seem to be doing everything possible to tank a guy like Obama.

Seems like they want to give us the dream - but where's the beef?

3. In retrospect, I have my own theory.
Here's just my take on how this primary is the Frankenstein the media created:

In the beginning, all eyes were on Hillary, the inevitable. She's a corporate shill, a panderer, and basically, the best Republican Democrats have to offer. Who in the upper bracket wouldn't love her as president? Then there's these two other guys: one's black (immediately disregard him) and one's white, good looking, and speaking truth to power. Oh shit.

The weeks leading up to Iowa, the MSM did everything possible to bury Edwards. And they underestimated how well Obama's ground team had been working in silence. Iowa hits, and it's fucking crazy - the black guy wins. What better way to get rid of Edwards all together? Make the race between the minorities! No one is going to take the mulatto seriously, anyways.

But guess what? With Edwards gone and people really thirsty for change, the plan backfired. It was great for ratings for a while but now the unthinkable has unfolded: Obama is winning and (let's face it) has really kind of, sort of, in every way imagineable, already won this thing. The only thing left is to go into overdrive and THROW EVERYTHING POSSIBLE at him to make him unelectable.

Guess what again?

He's still standing.

Eat crow, you rich bastards.

5. Makes a lot of sense
I think they're all amazed that everyday Americans weren't quite as bigoted as they thought. They've gotta be terified.
