Why can't Hillary close this race?

I keep seeing all kinds of posts stating that Obama has not "closed" this thing, and that is going to hurt him. Hillary is using these comments to show he is unelectable. But why has "SHE" not been able to run away with this race?

Hillary started out with the money, the backers, the name, and the so called Clinton machine behind her. Every report on TV had her as the "anointed" winner when the race first started, all that was left was to wait for the first few primaries and she would have the nomination all tied up. That didn't come to be!

Then the meme was that on super Tuesday, the race would won by her once again. Yet once again that did not happen!

How can the candidate with all the name recognition, the money, the lobbyist and corporate backers, Bill Clinton, and so many big name democratic supporters be losing to a first term senator, new comer? That's what she needs to answer!
