Pyrrhic Victory...
according to Wiktionary...

A very costly victory, wherein the considerable losses outweigh the gain, so as to render the battle unfavorable.

That having been said, how did the primary go for Hillary? I had to work tonight and couldn't keep up with the primary results.

2. maybe...
if her credit holds up, she'll be able to run for another two weeks. Let's just hope that no one in NC asks her for cash up front.

3. Is when you narrowly win a battle
but you are bankrupted in the process.

Your opponent has 40 mil in the bank, and there are still 9 battles left to go.

Hint: you are toast!

the counties my family is from, Bedford and Somerset; went the wrong way hardcore. Maybe they'll vote for Obama when he comes back through in the GE.

13. From personal experience, I hate to say that there are a lot of people there
that would vote for a dead coyote before they'd vote for a black man.

17. Sad thing, though
The mountains are beautiful in the fall, when every leaf on every tree is a different color, but in spite of the differences, combine in an explosion of splendor. Maybe we just had some really smart trees up there.

18. smart trees......that's it....but here, just for you.....
This Youtube video was made by a friend of my daughter's. I think it brilliant in its conception. I look at it every time I miss those trees. But, I don't miss the rest of what I left behind.

19. If I had any tears left
they'd be shed after watching that. Maybe next elections we can get the trees to vote. I'm sure they'd be against HRC's pro mountain top removal platform.
