My cynical gut tells me Bush and Cheney are watching closely, and if Clinton or McCain are in the runoff, then there will not be an attack on Iran before the GE, because they would certainly carry on in the neocon 'we're at war' footsteps. If Obama is clearly cleaning McCain's clock nearing the GE, then I would think Bush and Cheney would be inclined to attack Iran for no other reason than to sway the sheep towards Mr. Military McCain in November.

I hope I'm wrong.
