I'm a bit confused, can this board help me out?
I support Obama, but one Hillary supporter says we are all supporting a corporate candidate, another says we are the ultra-liberal wing of the party, another says we are upper-class older elitist that sip lattes, and yet another says we are low lifes who are to young to understand.

Can someone explain to me how I'm all these things?

1. If your not for their Goddess of Peace
Than you are obviously delusional or evil or naive is their line of thinking. They get it from their candidate who can't understand why she is losing.

2. I prefer black coffee, but I've been accused of sipping lattes.
I still don't know why that's an insult.

3. See, Obama attracts everyone!
 For a Clinton fan to claim 'we' are supporting the corporate candidate who's also an elitist is too rich for words! And too young to understand? Ha! We understand all right, and am I considered young at 52? Thanks for the laugh!

4. That one is too easy.
You're an Obama supporter, right?

So you are anything the Clinton folks say you are. See?

Heck, at least they aren't claiming that you are a sniper yet.

It goes like this...

You are the ultra-liberal wing of the party, being hoodwinked by the upper class east coast elitists, into supporting their corporate candidate.

I think...I dunno. I apparently can't think for myself and make my own judgements on policies and people since I support Obama, so this is apparently an attitude instilled in me by Kang and/or Kodos.

16. who ironically doesn't seem to be standing up for DLC principles anymore
such as free trade. She is a gun-loving shot drinker. She is a progressive anti-free trader. She's anything you want your imagination to say she is... except winning. Even a healthy imagination can no longer hide the plain math that she's done for.

11. hey, we are the Democratic Party
Edited on Sun Apr-20-08 02:55 PM by MissWaverly
Bill and Hill tried to tells us what democrats should be, nope, not going to work, we are going to be urban and rural, rich and poor, every nationality, union and non, blue collar and white collar. We are the big tent party, the Republicans said they were but like everything else that was another myth. We like FDR, we LOVE social security, we believe in the miniumum wage and the 8 hour work day. We believe that the Geneva convention guidelines should be followed and we believe in diplomacy. We want New Orleans rebuilt,& the Gulf Coast rebuilt. We don't believe that Might makes Right. We cheer on the underdog, the average guy. We want a tax break for the middle class not the wealthy. And we want freedom from Middle East oil and all it's strings. We want accountable government including political appointees AND we hate liars and those who trade the common good for cash.

17. I'm for both of them in any combo, so what does that make me?
I don't sip lattes but I do grind my own beans, lol. I've been a devoted Democrat for nearly 40 years now and all I really care about is winning back our country for the PEOPLE, taking back what has been given to the corporate whores whose coffers runneth over. No 100 years war in Iraq for this kid thanks anyway.

United we stand, divided, we fall! :kick: :kick: :loveya:

20. Same way
I support Hillary, and so I'm supporting a corporate candidate, and am also a lower-class redneck xenophobe who is too uneducated to understand the truth. Also, possibly evil. It's amazing the assumptions you can make based soley on what primary candidate someone supports.
