1. The Naderites.
So long as you're gonna put moderates in there.

2. Naderites. Great choice, how did I miss that one?

Though I despise Nader, now, (and I know it's better for us to have more than a two party monopoly).

But there was once a lot of Greens, did the system swallow them up? Are they are no more? Sad! They were even more progressive & liberal than most Dems. And I'm a progressive liberal Dem, who leans towards the Greens philosophy...However, I'm trapped to be a Dem forever.

They have, (the powers) worked it out to a two party system forever, as we just have to watch the votings in Congress..."Lesser of two evils", so, it seems, I'm always going to be forever a slave to the Dems mainstream.

4. Bitter and resentful low and middle income white folk
distract 'em with the "social" issues so they won't notice they're getting screwed.

5. I've long thought the religious right
Is the most dangerous element of the Repub party.

Long time ago, they were only a fringe. Now they have real power. I don't think they run the party--that's still the corporate people. But they've gotten strong enough that the corporates can't do anything to make them unhappy.

And the religious right is sort of like the Islamic fundies. Their leaders take a very long view, think strategicly, are willing to work from the bottom up. They've been working at taking over school boards and local govts all across the nation for a long time.

The corporates think they're using the religious nuts, but I think it's the other way around.
