Hill supporters, Obama isn't "crying" because ABC singled him out, his beef is about the way we are ALL getting hosed by our shit political system and it's corporate media handmaidens. Anyone who doesn't agree with him doesn't care about, or understand, the deep shit we're in.

1. Here, Here!
I for one would have liked to see an adult discussion of the issues, not a juvenile version of Entertainment Tonight. Clinton and the Right Wing and unfortunately, people like Chuck Todd want to say that Obama is complaining because he didn't do well...nonsense. He knows, like we do, that ABC failed the voters, not the candidates.

3. Absolutely: this is a bad precedent for the GE coverage
Hillary supporters should consider what this means for their candidate if she wins the nomination.

4. boo freakin hoo
This is what the Clintons have endured since 92 (only they had it worse)

Obama is such a crybaby. He's not going to last 1 minute a republican shitstorm. And obama's shady past make him an easy victory for mccain

5. oh, and Hillary is such a effing saint. The woman is proving herself to be a compulsive liar.
Come on, the woman lies even when she doesn't have to.

6. LOL! It isn't IF she wins the nomination but WHEN.
The questions were silly for the most part, at least at producing answers we all wanted. Unfortunately, Obama could not adapt and just answer the silly questions. He really isn't very good at thinking and speaking on his feet--except for his well-rehearsed speeches that is.

7. Wow, you win the prize for managing to get almost all the RW talking points in less than 5 lines
So I take it you thought the debate was a service to the electorate?

9. So, I seem to hear an advocacy for "more of the same" rather than get out of the mud.
Strange. :eyes:

8. Whining about it isn't going to solve ANYTHING.
ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, FOX - they're not going anywhere, and certainly not before November.

It's "infotainment," it's designed to distract and misinform people, and it totally SUCKS. But it's not going away before the election and probably not for a long time thereafter.

Whoever gets the nomination can't whine, he or she has to rise above it, to break through and use the current system to advantage. Obama didn't do that last night. He just didn't, and that is what many of his supporters refuse to accept. Oddly enough, I didn't hear him or his supporters complain when the media gave him 72-hour coverage of his Oprah bonanza or his Ted Kennedy endorsement blitz. You wanna turn politics into a spectacle? The door swings both ways.

11. Too bad these bullshit guilt by association "issues" are all that matter to Hill supporters
otherwise, you'd be unhappy about the debate too.

16. Yes and that applies to all of the shoddy "journalism" during this race
There have been plenty of reports on how disappointed Pennsylvania voters have been with the lack of questions on the most pressing issues facing them and the country. This was the first and only debate on free, over-the-air television. People who didn't have the chance or the means to see any of the debate were done a great injustice.

When Obama lashes out against all the distractions of this campaign, he is speaking for us, the people and the country. When the MSM floods the airwaves with these tabloid issues, they are trivializing the process and forcing aside the most crucial issues.

The worst part is that they think we won't notice, but they're wrong. We can think for ourselves and we are willing to face the real issues to move the country forward and out of the mess Bush has left for us.

We've had enough of this garbage and the media is going to be left behind if they keep up their their old, condescending, smoke-and-mirrors, dirty politics-as-usual coverage.
