The media are desperate to keep Hillary in this...
This jaded, thoroughly ONE-SIDED moderation of a SHAM of a Democratic debate proves it is ALL ABOUT KEEPING THE BATTLE RAGING.

flame away if you disagree, but I have never seen the kind of disrespect Charlie Gibson has shown to Obama tonight, and Hillary less so...

2. No, I agree, this is an embarassment for ABC. Real journalism doesn't exist there.

9. This is the *personification* of the *whole election cycle.*
Do you think any of the big media issues *throughout* the election cycle regarded *any* issues whatsoever?

4. Charlie Gibson has been unbelievable in his attack on Obama tonight. I cannot
understand how he as a professional could be so blatant in his behavior. He should be fired, ABC is responsible for this debacle they call a debate.

...if it weren't for the media. You people will never fucking get it. This forum is as bad as tonights debate.

13. The race has been over for a while...
The media likes to keep the perception alive that Clinton has a chance.

Reality says she doesn't.

This race was over the moment she voted for the war. If she had voted properly, she would have had this wrapped up a long time ago.

consider yourself blessed. Go play your Donkey Kong video game, your time will be better utilized that way.

11. If it was illegal to be politically inept then our whole society would be in jail.
You people must not have been paying attention during DrugGate, CryGate, RaceGate, WrightGate, SniperGate, RezkoMiniGate, and the plethroa of other "cntroversies" that have plagued this fucking election season.

You people make me laugh!

8. You make me want to take this thing off my TiVo
But I will still tape it and watch it (just with a faster trigger finger for FF).

I've gotten to the point I usually scan over Clinton anyway, since there is nothing left she can say to get my vote.

However, attacking Obama could wind up helping him, depending upon how he responded. Hopefully, he held his ground against the assault.

I have watched. I turned it off and am now watching a repeat of CSI: Miama, and am making donation #3 to Obama's campaign

15. Not the media, the corporate masters who own the media.
Edited on Wed Apr-16-08 08:44 PM by tabasco
They want a republican in the White House, but bar that, a corporate-whore Democrat.

Hence the memos to sink Obama and promote Clinton.

17. Absolutely. The media loves a horserace.
The story from the PA primary will be:

If Obama wins by 1 vote - OMG, it's over for Hillary
If Hillary wins by 1 vote - OMG, what a comeback for Hillary.
