Bitters? DU's got bitters, and I HAVE RECIPES!
Campari Bitters mixed drinks

Americano Highball recipe

1 oz Campari® bitters
2 oz sweet vermouth
soda water
1 twist lemon peel


Build campari and sweet vermouth in highball glass and fill with seltzer water. Garnish with a twist of lemon.


Serve in: Highball Glass
Camp Grenada recipe

1 1/2 oz Campari® bitters
1/2 oz grenadine syrup
2 oz grapefruit juice
1 oz pineapple juice
3 oz chilled 7-Up® soda


Shake and strain into an ice-filled collins glass. Add the 7-up, garnish with fruit, and serve.


4% (8 proof)
Serve in: Collins Glass


Camp Lawless recipe

1 oz white rum
1/2 oz Campari® bitters
1/2 oz Galliano® herbal liqueur
5 oz mandarin juice


Pour rum and juice into a highball glass filled with broken ice. Sprinkle the campari and galliano on top. Serve unstirred, with straws, and garnish with a cherry and orange slice.

Serve in: Highball Glass
Campari and Ale recipe

3 oz Campari® bitters
6 oz Schweppes® ginger ale


Place several ice cubes into a 12 oz highball glass or equivalent. Gently pour in the Campari bitters until one-quarter full. Add the ginger ale until three-quarters full, pouring across the side of the glass so as to not affect the Campari on the bottom.

Serve in: Highball Glass


Campari and Soda recipe

6 oz Campari® bitters
6 oz soda water


Pour Campari bitters into a highball glass until half-full. Completely fill the rest of the glass with soda water, and serve.


12% (24 proof)
Serve in: Highball Glass
Campari Milkshake recipe

12 1/2 cl milk
12 1/2 cl orange juice
2 cl Campari® bitters
3 ice cubes
1 slice orange


Pour cold milk in a pot. Slowly add orange juice. Finally add campari. Stir really well. Put ice cubes in glass and pour in the milk-shake. Garnish with a slice of orange. Serve with a straw.

After making this drink, try alternating the amount of Campari to taste.


Serve in: Hurricane Glass


Campari Orange recipe

4 cl Campari® bitters
orange juice


Mix over ice in highball glass.


Serve in: Highball Glass
Campari Soda recipe

2 oz Campari® bitters
4 1/2 oz soda water


Pour the Campari over ice cubes in a highball glass, then fill with sparkling/soda water. Squeeze a lime wedge over the glass, drop it in, and serve.

Serve in: Highball Glass


Campola recipe

1 oz Campari® bitters
1/2 oz sweet sherry
5 oz cold cola


Pour into an ice-filled highball glass. Garnish with a slice of lime.


5% (10 proof)
Serve in: Highball Glass
Cherry Fluster recipe

15 ml Campari® bitters
20 ml cherry brandy
1 tsp honey
1 tbsp cherry conserve
1 dash lemon juice
1 halved strawberry
90 - 120 ml Champagne


Shake all ingredients together in a cocktail shaker. Double strain the mixture into a Champagne glass, then top with Champagne, and garnish with the strawberry. Serve.


Serve in: Champagne Flute


King Kenneth recipe

1 1/2 oz Campari® bitters
1/2 oz peach schnapps
1 oz orange juice
2 tsp lemon juice
4 oz tonic water


Pour the Campari, peach schnapps, orange juice and lemon juice into a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes. Shake well, strain into a collins glass and top with tonic water. Stir well, garnish with a twist of lemon, and serve.


6% (12 proof)
Serve in: Collins Glass
Malaria Killer recipe

4 cl Campari® bitters
1/2 bottle Schweppes® Indian tonic water
1 slice orange


Pour campari into highball glass over ice, add the tonic water and stir with a spoon. Garnish with an orange slice.


Serve in: Highball Glass


Rose Water recipe

1/3 oz Campari® bitters
1 tsp grenadine syrup
6 oz lemonade


Pour into an ice-filled highball glass, and serve.


1% (2 proof)
Serve in: Highball Glass
The Miki recipe

1 part Campari® bitters
1 part soda water
1 part grapefruit juice


Pour the campari into a highball glass with ice. Add the grapefruit juice, then the soda. Stir once.


8% (16 proof)
Serve in: Highball Glass

1. I didn't realize other companies made bitters.
I've only ever seen Angostura bitters.

2. There's so much bitterness there was bound to be more than one bottler...
I used to see Angostura ads in a particular men's magazine that was associated with bunnies...I only read it for the liquor ads. Honest!

3. But real Floridians like 'key limes' with their bitters...
    1/8 to 1/4 cup Bacardi rum (1/8 cup for my sister and I, 1/4 cup for everyone else)
    2 - 4 splashes of bitters
    juice from 1 key lime, maybe a little more
    1/3 cup fresh mint leaves washed and dried
    2 - 3 tsp sugar (it's a bit to taste)
    10 oz bottle of tonic water already cold
    crushed ice
