McCain is not our friend.
Edited on Wed Apr-09-08 09:01 AM by cooolandrew
As much as "my friend " is McCains well renowned catchphrase, it is important to remember that he is not "our friend". Even I can listen in all honesty, to this amiable guy and think hey you ain't too bad. BUT once you have listened to his long drawn out anecdotes, it is important to remember that his policiss are far less friendly. Firstly, he admits not to be too hot on the economy, the number one issue of the moment. Next, he has long term commitments to war and the war industry, putting all other issues to the sidelines through its cost. Finally, his healthcare plan, once he has removed employment insureance, and supplied a tax credit would leave folks worse off and lacking funds to purchase adequate insuracne. So, always remeber behind the mild manner and kind smile is disastrous policy for you and future generations.

1. His long, drawn-out anecdotes make me run to the nearest exit.
He yammers on like a drunk on the barstool next to you who won't shut the fuck up. He and Lieberman make quite the pair in this regard.
