Taylor Marsh: DU the vile that has become the "progressive" blogosphere

Well, the Taylor Marsh saga is getting funnier and funnier by the minute. Taylor has brought her attack on to DU and the blogger who busted her lies. Taylor is claiming McCarthyism over John Brown's posts debunking her career(or the lack of one.) Taylor writes:

Are you or have you ever been a Hillary Clinton supporter? If you are, beware. Mwaaaaaahhaaaa. The screed merchants are going to get you! We'll discover who you are and write everything about you! It's enough to make you want to take a nap.

The question above was posed by one commenter on Benny's post over at Democratic Undergound, amidst the vile that has become the "progressive" blogosphere. That's the foundation on which some people have decided to come at me, on the premise of revealing something that has been in the public arena for years.

ahh the vile "progressive" blogosphere... It cracks me up when she writes about the "evil progressive elitists" (like the democratic party) who are out to get Clinton. At the bottom of my post I have links to the blogs discrediting Marsh... Now, some who are less familiar with her may ask "why do you care, mckeown..." well it's simple... her hyper-partisan rantings are where have of the anti-Obama vile in GDP come from.(the other half being hillaryis44) Luckily she isn't being quoted as much anymore. Her website is nothing but a smear site where she encourages stories about how Obama is stealing the primary, Obama is sexist, the "elite progressives" are out to get us, and (my favorite) the Sinclair(Obama and I had sex and did coke guy) rantings.

She really seems to be working hard to discourage her voters from supporting Obama in November. (Which I really have a problem with)

She is now threatening to sue the blogger who dared to post about her. She of course blamed Obama in her headline (I don't think John Brown is even a democrat) him because he used pictures of her in his post. lol.. He has a MUST read follow up on her threats:

For those who don't feel like reading all that... here is a summery.
Bottom line is that she is a phony.. fake... she payed to have her book published(which means it was crappy enough not to get accepted by a publishing company), she worked in porn then LATER claimed it was research for her "vanity" book, her "radio" experience consists of her paying large amounts of money for a cheap AM station to put her on the air. She uses her fake resume to get writting gigs at Huffington post... and even to go on MSNBC.

Actually, I feel bad right now. I just watched 'Love Story.' I had never seen it all the way through before after all these years and I started crying at the end. But Grendel cat was in my lap and he's old and his chronic chest congestion is back and young Marla cat came up to sleep next to him and I thought of my dad who has lung cancer. Over a year ago, Debbie Schlussel threatened to sue Taylor Marsh because she used one of Debbie's pictures in a post. Marsh removed the photo and made a cartoon of Debbie and that was the end of the threat. My buddy Mash, who once wrote for her site every Sunday night, made fun of the incident and we had a contest to draw the best picture. That's my entry above, which at the time was quite popular. It was something I put together in about ten minutes in Paint Shop Pro.

Now Taylor is threatening to do the same to John Brown. JB is an Independent, and I wish he had done what I did when I blog about Taylor's loony rantings. I found a picture of Veruca Salt from Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory to avoid the "hassle" of a "lawsuit", which in all likelyhood would be nothing more than a cease and desist order because the photographs are low-res images and are likely to be considered "fair use". Strangely, I discovered that these same images can be found on other pro-Taylor blogs.

She was one of just a handful of bloggers to sit on a panel of bloggers during a session held at a time when there were no competing events.

The whole concept of who is and who is not a legitimate blogger is absolutely absurd. Blogging is a self made media. Most of us here are blogging "hiding behind" fake names. Who are we anyway? Why should anyone read or listen to what we have to say?

How can we be against the capital intensive corporate dominated main stream media in one breath and then "expose" a blogger for finding independent ways to get her message out to the world? But she is no different from Markos and his ilk who attack Clinton almost on a daily basis. Taylor's place is a safe haven for Clinton supporters, and I get along with her just fine. She's been very kind to JRE supporters like me.

Her show is strictly on the Internet, but there are other shows, like Blogtalk Radio that are strictly on the Net as well. The Net is another medium, least we forget, to get opinions and information out there. The traditional media does a crummy job of it, as Elizabeth Edwards pointed out at a JFK, Jr forum last night, which was also live streamed on the Internet and not on the MSM.
