"Joy Division" was an untalented band in the late 70's early 80's that attracted a lot of self-important strung-out types. Think "Nirvana" with shorter hair.

The young lady in question closely resembles any number of their groupies.

You could compare JD with Pfirs, Depeche Mode, The Smiths, The Cure etc.

These groups have very little to do with the convirgence of Post-Punk and Pop that was Nirvana. Now, if you had said that Nirvana was a slightly bouncier, catchier Mudhoney, you might have something.

Translation: I read the article posted somewhere on DU (sorry I would link, it's here somewhere but my memory fails) about how she WENT AFTER the "reporter" that claimed to actually talk w/her mother. The "reporter" falsely claimed having talked w/her mother in an attempt to prop up the affair smear.

Well, gutsy Alexandra hunted him down like a dog, and asked him repeatedly how on earth he sourced her mother when they had never even had any contact. She called him, tracked him down at his home, and the wimp hid behind his wife, saying he was not going to come out and talk to her.

Some "reporter" - what a slimey, lying, chickenshit bastard.
