new ad at DNC website, on Bush cuts for veterans
footage of Bush babbling about honoring promises to veterans, then the truth...

Looks like "credibility is on the ballot" is a recurring theme. Good news, imo, I think it's a great theme.

Remember

TEXT: On the campaign trail, George W. Bush is all promises...

BUSH: Part of rebuilding the morale of the United States military is to keep the commitments to those who have worn our uniform. To the veterans in the audience I say thank you from the bottom of my heart. To the veterans in the audience, a promise made, will be a promise kept.

TEXT: But recently, an internal White House memo surfaced showing...

Graphic of memo

TEXT: Bush has a secret plan under which...

TEXT: "The Department of Veterans Affairs is scheduled to get... a $910 million CUT in 2006..."

BUSH: To the veterans in the audience, a promise made, will be a promise kept.

TEXT: If Bush is elected this November He will cut nearly $1 billion in funding for veterans

TEXT: So this Memorial Day... please remember

TEXT: Credibility is on the ballot this November

2. They need to use voiceover on the text parts
I wasn't too impressed with the ad, even if the message is good.

Make it a little more interesting to keep people's attention and maybe use voiceover on the parts where there is text on the screen?
