Reporter: What didn't you know when you voted initially against that you later knew when you changed your mind?

McCain: I had not really been involved in the issue. I just had not had a lot of experience with the issue. That's all.

He was 47 years old and he had not known about MLK??? Send this one to the sheep in the MSM!

2. Oy. Something I read said that McCain didn't know
anything about MLK because he was out of the country or detained overseas, referencing his imprisonment, I'm thinking. But that wouldn't explain his later votes against MLK day in 1987 (if I'm remembering correctly) and another vote, in 1990? 1991 maybe? He's a fucking liar.

3. No, no you can't interrupt the internecine pissing match with something about a *Republican*
Because, then, you know, the cannibalism would have to cease, and no one in GDP would know what to do with themselves then.

8. Check this out...
WALLACE: Give me an example, since you bring it up. What have you done? What would you admit you did for political expediency?

MCCAIN: I went down to South Carolina and said that the flag that was flying over the state capitol, which was a confederate flag, was — that I shouldn't be involved in it, it was a state issue. It was an act of cowardice.

WALLACE: Act of cowardice on your part.

MCCAIN: Yes.

WALLACE: And you did it because you thought this will help me in the South Carolina primary in 2000.

MCCAIN: Yes, sure, this won't alienate a certain voting block. But I lost anyway.

9. I absolutely agree he is a disaster
I think you are preaching to the choir. We are all in agreement (or damn well should be) that the Repubs must be defeated, and that they suck on the issues. It is more "fun" to infight, because there are opposing factions in the same tent. I speak my mind when I am talking to family, friends, co-workers, and people that I meet, in hopes that the Democratic agenda will sink in to the ones that are on the wrong side of the ledger. I hope that McCain is taken to task by at least a couple of news outlets, because as we all know, we face a very biased MSM, and some folks will eat that shit with a shovel. I am more than ready to blast McCain, and would suggest that we start posting every ounce of dirt on him that is out there, just to get it circulating among the newbies and those that don't realize just how sucky he is (the ones that claim they will vote for him over Clinton or Obama).
