Obama Labeled as Flirt by Huffington Post Article
Edited on Thu Apr-03-08 06:37 AM by jazzy062
Seems folks over at the Huffington Post are trying to paint Obama as a lusty, flirtatious, ladies man that can’t stop grinning and winking at the ladies. As charismatic as Clinton was, I don’t recall any kind of article accusing him of flirting with women….although he was doing more than flirting as we now know. What gives with the disrespect? I guess they’ll try anything to discredit this man.

It may be April Fools Day, but Sen. Barack Obama was acting like it was Valentine’s Day. He was in full charm mode while touring the Tama Manufacturing plant, a JC Penny supplier of made-in-the-USA clothing in Allentown.

Obama was especially flirtatious today, winking and grinning at the female workers who were swooning behind their cell phone cameras. Tama President Mark Fogelman told quality inspector Carol Davis not to be nervous when she talked to Obama, even though he was “only the next president” greeting her. Obama smiled ear to ear as he looked at her work, saying: “These look pretty comfortable, this is all pretty leisure wear.”

After the presidential hopeful walked away, Davis let out a “Whoo!” and fanned herself.

“It got hot in here. He ain’t bad looking either,” she told your pooler.

13. Exactly - Halperin in a book he co-authored, called Matt Drudge our "Edward R Murrow"
In his book, he actually praised Drudge and the RW for creating out of a routine $75 Kerry haircut a $1000 highlighting and styling, complete with comments on how fussy he was with his hair.

On this, Obama is smiling, gregarious and charming - that's great. I seriously doubt that Michelle or his kids would have been upset seeing that same campaigning - which was covered on video.

8. Oh darn
a smooth, educated, good looking president who's admired by the guys and thought attractive by the ladies who on top of it has good policies.

how terrible for america.

:sarcasm:

I guess the media would be happier with us having a short, drunken idiot who can't put two sentences together and who's wife doesn't even like him.

But Obama lavished compliments on dancewear manufacturer Marisa Cerveris, who gave him a black and pink leotard for Malia and Sasha, explaining she was once in the New York City ballet. "You look like you might be a dancer," Obama told her, later adding: "You're big time."

"You're gorgeous," he told Cerveris after glancing at one of her old ballet photos.

"I was," she replied.

"You still are," he countered, asking the crowd, "Isn't she beautiful?" and answering his own question: "Absolutely."

That's a master showman right there. He's using his power to empower others in the audience and that only gives him even more power over the audience, because he's making it not just about him. Obama understands working an audience better than any politician, far better than Bill Clinton ever did even.

Chris Matthews came out of the closet for Obama... he's STILL trying to back pedal

I was embarrassed for him

I do believe that the covert portrayal of Obama as "smooth-talking, light skinned, arrogant, "uppity"" and sexually hyperactive, is an intentional effort to capitalize on the fears and prejudices of not only white people, but mature and, often deeply religious, African Americans.

Yeah I forgot about Tweetie professing his hotness for Obama while grinning at the cameras - I thought that was one of the strangest moments I'd witnessed on cable news.

21. There is video of his flirtation in the candy shop
And a few sites are calling these actions misogynist behavior. Other site said pandering to the targeted working class.
