A Quick Note to *ALL* the "Haters" of Clinton & Obama
Every single hateful and twisted thing that has been said by Democrats about either candidate will be repeated by the Republicans in the General Election, plus a bunch they will make up.

Any candidate that cannot take the heat at this stage of the campaign (and that includes their supporters) is in for a rude awakening in a few months.

== Hillary is obviously unqualified because she's a Woman and she's a "B Word." :sarcasm:

== Obama is obviously unqualified because he's Black and has a Funny Name and not a lot of experience on the national stage, plus he knows people who can be racist. :sarcasm:

Both candidates have had their positions distorted, their characters smeared, and heaven only knows what they really think about things, because as politicians, both will say/do whatever it takes to get elected. At some point that means they will throw anybody (including each other) under the bus.

Live with it. The Democrats *cannot* find a candidate who will make the Republicans happy, and the Republicans will use any excuse they can repeat to keep this country in a Republican Controlled Disaster.

Hate on each other to your hearts content -- personally, I'm not particularly impressed with either of them because they really don't care about the issues near and dear to my heart -- but be prepared to be shocked and amazed at how much *UGLIER* things are going to get in a few months.

One's a Bitch, and the Other is Black -- with everything else aside, when those two "impossible" things are put aside because only the folks in the GOP care, the Republicans will have to find "real dirt" to dig up, and if they can't find "real" stuff, they'll make it up, repeat it on Faux News, with blazing sirens from Sites that Shall Not Be Named, and vile people on Talk Radio who will be saying things designed to get your blood pressure up.

Once the Democrat wins, the Republicans will do everything in their power to DESTROY our people. (Ask Bill Clinton what its like to be on the receiving end of their vitriol; do you think these "power players" have gotten softer since? Get real!)

Suck it up, people. Quit whining about how unfair everything is. This is a prelude to the real war, and folks who care about avoiding prison/continuing to rob the people's coffers are going to be fighting for their lives and livelihoods.

I applaud both candidates for their willingness to take on a thankless task. Heaven knows I wouldn't do it if you paid me.

That is all.

-- End Reality Check --

8. Nope. I'm saying that as ugly as things are now, its going to get worse.
That doesn't automatically make either candidate a bad one.

2. Bullshit, the fucking republicans don't need any help...their media machine will cover any
Edited on Wed Apr-02-08 03:10 PM by GreenTea
any and help any republican running for president and make them into moderate consumption for the American people before the election, while offering lies, distortions, smears and attacks on any democrat running....swiftboat, paid republican attack ads....their media-machine bought & paid for by the same republican corporations.

It is always best we say what we feel about both candidates, that's democracy and freedom of speech & opinion, since they all three candidates are bought and paid for by corporate interest...stop fucking hiding and pretending it's not true!

The republicans are gearing up each and every day for their slime and attacks on Character....it gives people an excuse NOT to vote for a democrat...the moderates, the racist, the sexist, the closet republicans....

Stop with your bullshit attacking people who want to say the truth about either candidate...again, the republicans don't need our help to attack....they are genius' at it!!

I have a free day and it's the same old bullshit around here as it was a month ago and two month's ago....Hillary this, Obama this...and stupid ignorant bickering and people saying don't say what you think or feel....because we are sooooooo fearful of the republicans!

11. Hey, I voted Edwards!
All I'm saying is the whining here is ridiculous, and I think the OP nailed it.

I saw a post just yesterday... I forget if the poster was in the Clinton or Obama camp... but they actually posted a link and snips to a RW pundit's story... as some sort of PROOF of what they were saying! And they didn't have a clue as to how ridiculous that is.

3. The whiners are the real problem...
They are the only ones "hurting" the party.

Too many are going around parroting GOP memes here. And some even post RW whack job pundits as proof of what they are saying.

Crazy as bat guano around here.

However, I like you, and I will K & R. Your post certainly deserves attention. Thanks.

6. One's a liar and an opportunist
And has proved that when she told Code Pink she wouldn't oppose the invasion, when she helped give Bush a pass on the yellow cake, when she said we need to "stay the course", when she threw John Kerry under the bus, when she lied about Ireland, NAFTA and Bosnia, etc etc etc

9. Both are fighting tooth and nail for one of the most prestigious jobs
in the world (or it was, before Junior took office).

The blood bath is to be expected. Ask McCain about how nasty the 2000 election got -- black love child, homosexual, cheating spouse, etc.

Its going to get worse, no matter who wins, and "reality" versus "perception" about either candidate isn't really the point, is it?

At some level, its just a game, with very high stakes.

10. Back in 2003???
This stuff has been going on for years with Hillary. It's got nothing to do with this election. She's a liar. Why the hell people are afraid to say it is beyond me.
