Wearing My "Dean for America" T-shirt
After he dropped out, I still had two of them, one white, one blue, in quite good (like, worn once) condition.

At first, I was reluctant to wear one publicly. But when the laundry piles up, there's no use in penalizing a perfectly clean, harmless t-shirt to the rag pile, so ..

Today at a company staff meeting, I got several compliments from people I seriously doubt voted for Dean in the TN primary.

2. I have four!
I'd had one for a while. At the last Dean Meetup in March they were being closed out for three bucks each, so I got three more. Good shirts!

I did get a Kerry t-shirt for our visibility event last Sunday.

6. Buttons
I have a few of the tye-dye/rainbow and several of the Halloween "Bush scares me! Vote for Dean" models.

7. Cool!
I have five different buttons:

the standard blue "Howard Dean for America", which I got when I visited the Dean for America campaign headquarters last fall.

"Women for Dean", "I want Dean" - the Bill Bradley/Iowa button, "Americans for Howard Dean" w/different celebs' names on it and the big photo "America's Next First Family" showing Howard & Judith on it. I got those on eBay through a "buy it now" option.

Yes, I collect buttons - political and others...

8. When I wear mine - complete strangers come over and say how
much they loved him, too, and what a raw deal he got.

9. I've still got my Dean bumpersticker on; i'm keeping it as long as
I own the car. With every passing day it becomes more clear how right he was. I'm proud to have been a Dean supporter, and i still am (a Dean supporter, and proud of it).

10. Think of all the money the campaign will save...
when he runs for president again....

Hang onto those buttons and t-shirts, save Dean some cash for 2008 or 2012...
