Bush's approval is at 42% and largely due to the torture incident. If they had Osama don't you think they'd "capture" him right now to get the torture incident out of the news. Just my theory.

1. Well, I've never thought they had Osama.
But that's just me. What do I know?

2. I think OBL is no more.
But there's more PR value for this administration to keep him "alive" for their WOT. When was the last time OBL made a video that left no question on its authenticity and was undoubtably current?

3. let's hope you are right.
plus, we would know if Osama had really been captured. al-Qaida is a big organization and THEY would NOT keep quiet.

4. Um...
...although I'm rooting for the Dems, I draw the line at hoping we don't capture Osama before the election. I'm hoping to grease him -- today, tomorrow, November 1, whenever.

It's not going to change my vote, and we have to have faith in our fellow citizens' judgment.

5. Osama in chains will give Junior a huge "bump" with the FAUX sheep....
...but their problem is they can only use him once. It's too early to drag him out now. As I indicated in another thread, their next stunt will probably be the tragic death of Reagan, and the resulting 24/7 worship of his old simpleton ass, which will be timed to distract from the Dem convention in Boston.

Osama's appearance is likely to be either just before, or during the 911 exploitation fest in September.

6. Osama isn't due for his debut until July 23, 2004.
Osama gets thawed out the Friday before the Democratic convention. That way, the press gets to spend a whole weekend kicking around the headline without content or analysis, and come Monday it will be a fait accompli, unassailable, and detrimental to our cause--nevermind the circumstances behind his unveiling.

We ought to count on this Administation's predictable dishonesty and make T-shirts up about it, 'cause I'm just as certain about this future event as I was about gas prices and cicada broods.

7. Agree 100% with this timeline.
Getting him in Sept. or Oct. is too suspicious but the DNC would be perfect for the NSDAP.
